Our Work

Climate Action Intervention.

As part of our commitment to climate resilience, we implement practical interventions to counter the effects of climate change. One of our key strategies is tree planting—focusing on species that not only offer shade and food but are also effective in carbon sequestration. In Moshi, we are actively working with local communities and the church in Bonite–Chekereni to plant 6,000 trees, with a target of 5–20 tree stems per household. This initiative not only supports environmental sustainability but also enhances food security and community awareness on climate action.

Improving Health Access and Awareness

Many households lack awareness of the importance of health insurance, preventive care, and early intervention—especially in managing chronic illnesses. Through our community-based initiatives, we are educating families on essential health practices, connecting them with trusted healthcare providers, and introducing accessible micro health insurance solutions to promote long-term wellness and financial protection.

Women’s Economic Empowerment through Education.

Education and empowerment are at the heart of our mission. We equip women with practical skills to build resilient businesses, access and manage credit responsibly, and leverage simple technologies to track and grow their enterprises. By mid-2025, our goal is to reach 300 women—supporting them to improve existing businesses, generate new ideas, and transform informal ventures into sustainable enterprises.

Organic Production Initiative

In partnership with EMIMA Coffee, we have launched an organic coffee production program in the fertile coffee-growing zone of Moshi. Our goal is to produce 100 tonnes of organically grown coffee annually, while actively engaging and attracting young people and women to participate in and benefit from this sustainable agricultural venture.
